SV Marzling is putting a big exclamation mark before the winter break. The SVM table leader FC Moosburg thanks to high efficiency.

FC Moosburg’s nightmare has a name: SV Marzling. The SVM also won the second district class top game – and is the perceived leader of the table after the 2-0 (0-0) home win. The Marzlinger Kickers are only one point behind the FCM, but have played two fewer games. In addition, after two wins in the direct duels (1:0, 2:0), there is the direct comparison won against the Dreirosenstadt team.

SV Marzling – FC Moosburg 2:0 (0:0). The two top teams in the league played a worthy top game in which Moosburg owned the first half. The guests missed good chances and failed to score one or two goals. Marzling only got into the party better after a few changes at halftime and then demonstrated to the Moosburgers what offensive efficiency is. After a long ball from Benedikt Baumgartner and a header extension from Florian Schwager, Thomas Mäuer scored a goal that was as exciting as possible with a lob: the ball decided to find its way into the net after touching both posts. Mäuer’s converted penalty kick (68th) was a little less spectacular. The completely unnecessary foul was annoying for the guests because the attacker Benedikt Wohner was on his way out of the penalty area. After this cracking victory, the Marzlings go into the winter break as a more promising second place in the table.

SV Hörgertshausen – SpVgg Zolling 1:0 (0:0). Zolling wasn’t far from a draw. But the hosts got back into the penalty area after a throw-in – and Anton Böhnke scored to make it 1-0 (90th + 2). Hörgertshausen could have decided the party earlier: the team had a handful of good chances, while the guests only really threatened once. However, the SpVgg showed a strong fighting performance and quickly got the one point that they would have liked to have taken from third place in the table.

FSV Pfaffenhofen II – SGT Istanbul Moosburg 2:1 (1:0). The relegation battle could now become dramatic because the bottom of the table has caught up with the competition with this victory. Istanbul dragged its feet into the winter break and had a few more absences compared to the most recent games. “This result is okay,” explains SGT trainer Dominik Gessler. “There was simply no more possible.” The home team had more of the game. However, the Moosburg team missed a huge chance to make it 2-2 in the final minute. Mert Karatas (16th) and Motez Guemir (46th) scored for Pfaffenhofen, Erblin Lajqi (56th) scored for SGT.

FVgg Gammelsdorf – SC Freising 6:1 (2:0). The hosts had a great day – and Freising was simply unlucky to have to go to Gammelsdorf of all places. The Green-Whites scored dream goals and always found perfect solutions. At SCF, goalkeeper Erik Hillenbrand prevented an even more violent result with two penalty saves. Gammelsdorf made it 1-0 with an offside goal after a good 30 seconds from Niklas Hölzl (2nd) and the saved commercial meter (5th). The goal of the day was Erik Hölzl’s 5-1 volley from 30 meters into the top corner (75′). The other Gammelsdorf goals were scored by Marcel Beischl (17th), Benedikt Reiter (47th/84th) and Mehmet Caglar (51st) with the SCF consolation goal from Fatih Masat (53rd). “That was just a great performance,” enthused FVgg coach Alfons Deutinger afterwards about his team’s best performance of the season so far. Freising had a strong phase before the break and could have come back with a 1-2 goal.

SV Langenbach – SC Massenhausen 3:0 (1:0). In the duel between the two promoted teams in the last game before the winter break, the SVL was clearly the boss in the ring. Coach Malte Keding was totally satisfied with the performance of his boys, who had the opponent under control for almost the entire 90 minutes and allowed next to nothing at the back. This time the chances were also exploited correctly, and so there was a clear victory thanks to goals from Julian Hauner (17th), Kilian Ziegler (51st) and Malte Keding (82nd). Langenbach now winters with a three-point lead over the relegation relegation places. With only a six-point gap left, SC Massenhausen now has to look down again. The relegation battle begins in March from fifth place.

BC Uttenhofen – TSV Paunzhausen 0:2 (0:0). The Paunzhausen team performed close to their best last season and ended the winter in fourth place in the table. Together with the third Hörgertshausen they form the midfield of the league and should no longer have anything to do with relegation. In Uttenhofen, coach Alen Ruzak saw a mature performance from his team, which stood well and patiently worked towards the goals. These were marked by Yakhya Diop (57th) and Michael Geyer (84th). Shortly before the first goal there was a moment of shock when defender Asim Sarajlic on the line prevented Uttenhofen from taking the lead. He crowned his strong performance with the rescue act. After the well-deserved win, Ruzak said that he didn’t have much to do in the dressing room beforehand: “Fourth place at the winter break was our big goal.” That’s why everyone was excited and motivated.”
