SSC CGL Result 2024: To pass the exam, unreserved category candidates must score at least 30 percent

The results of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Exam 2024 are expected to be announced soon. The exam was conducted from September 9th to 26th. The Commission had released the provisional answer keys on October 4 and the last date for raising objections was October 8.

The recruitment drive is aimed at filling up more than 17,727 vacancies in various departments of the Government of India. Those who have taken the exam can check their results on the official website ssc.gov.in by entering their roll numbers mentioned on their admit cards after declaration.

The Level 1 exam comprised objective multiple-choice questions on four topics including general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension. For each incorrect answer, 0.5 points will be deducted from the candidate’s score.

SSC CGL Result 2024: Minimum Marks Required to Pass the Exam

To pass the exam, unreserved category candidates must score at least 30 percent. Candidates from OBC and EWS categories must score at least 25 percent, while the minimum marks for candidates from all other categories is 20 percent.

Selected candidates will be assigned to a number of Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ positions in various Ministries, Departments and Organizations within the Government of India as well as in various constitutional bodies, statutory authorities and courts.

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the link “SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2024” on the home page.

Step 3: A new page will open on your screen.

Step 4: Enter the required credentials and click the Submit button.

Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Download your result and print a copy for future reference.

SSC CGL Result 2024: Salary Details

The salary for Group B positions under the SSC CGL ranges from Rs.35,400 to Rs.1,12,400 per month. The Combined Graduate Level Examination is a test organized by the Staff Selection Commission to recruit Group B and C officers for various positions in Ministries, Departments and Organizations of the Government of India.
