In 2024, Belgium was no longer spared from extreme meteorological phenomena. The Belgians are under important interns, violent people and strong men.

In this context, 94% of respondents had been interviewed in the context of elucidating the need for adaptation to climate change, and 51% of all respondents were convinced that adaptation was a priority over the next few years.



Adaptation to climate change is also an opportunity for the Belgians to take advantage of the economic plan and make a long-term investment in the country, depending on the request.

In fact, 85% agreed that they would invest in adapting to climate change to create more jobs and boost local economies. Overall, 81% believe that an immediate adjustment is required to avoid further costs and elevation differences at the destination.




And the experience of the staff was such that they were comfortable in their feeling until they came without any delay and again the request. More than 72% of people have faced an extreme meteorological phenomenon in the last five years, representing the highest points of the month in Europe. In addition, 60% are declared as a direct result less than a year ago, i.e. with more than a month in the European Union (EU).

Des mesures concrètes

The Belgians are maintaining specific measures for the adapter. According to the results, 45% estimate that they actually improve infrastructure, 37% estimate that they actually warm cities, and 35% estimate that they actually plant vegetation and withstand climate change.

With more than one animal (35%), the costs of these measures must be supported by companies and industries that contribute to climate change. A quarter (26%) believed that the whole world would split the bulk of the portfolio in two, and 19% agreed that few people would have made more money.



Finally, referring to the beneficiaries of adaptation, 25% of the interventions adopted by the people who are primarily beneficiaries, 40% of those who have equally benefited the world. Arriving people with private bathrooms live in high-risk zones (21%).

The request was made at the end of August. A total of 24,000 people were stationed in the EU and the United States, including 1,008 Belgians.
