Vandalism in Bad Schwalbach: 20 cars damaged

There were several cases of vandalism in Bad Schwalbach over the weekend. Around 20 parked cars on Martha-von-Opel-Weg were damaged by unknown perpetrators.

The vandals ripped off the license plate and threw it into nearby bushes. In addition, they scratched the paintwork of some cars. They destroyed the windshield of one car and kicked off the outside mirror of another. The roof rails of a car were also damaged. The material damage is estimated at around 5,000 euros.

Already a scratching attack in June

This is not the first incident of this art in the spa town. In June, unknown people scratched the paint on 12 vehicles. The damage is estimated at 6,000. Euro. To this day there is no trace of the perpetrators, despite calls for witnesses.

Call for witnesses

The police are now also asking for the public’s help. Witnesses or anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity is urged to contact police.
