Social media star Uorfi Javed is once again grabbing attention, but this time it’s not because of her daring outfits. The “Follow Kar Lo Yaar” actress has taken a stand against People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), calling them a “scam” after they failed to respond to an emergency call. Uorfi’s heated response came after her designer friend Shweta Gurmeet Kaur posted a video of an injured bird and tagged PETA India asking for urgent help, but received no response.

Since communication was not possible, she told a different story and criticized the organization. “I called PETA India. They clearly stated that they cannot help because they are busy. I spoke to a lady. And when I asked, “Please help,” she said we can’t help and gave me some other pet emergency numbers where she might be able to help you. I said share the number; I can write it down and she just hung up on me.

Disappointed with the situation, a frustrated Uorfi re-shared the note on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “PETA India is a scam! They don’t care unless you’re famous and they know they can get publicity out of you. A bunch of hypocrites.

Uorfi is very active on social media and often expresses her strong opinions on various social issues. From confronting her trolls to advocating for fashion choices and body positivity, she never misses an opportunity to grab attention. Uorfi is now known for her bold and unconventional look. Despite constantly being the subject of online criticism, she continues to have an uncompromising approach to life.

On the professional front, Uorfi Javed was recently seen as a mentor on Playground Season 4, a reality web show. She was previously seen in her own family drama series Follow Kar Lo Yaar. Before reality TV, Uorfi was a part of shows like Bepannaah, Meri Durga and Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania.

However, she gained fame through her participation in Bigg Boss OTT.
