A husky is given away at the Giessen animal shelter. The employees have already introduced “Fire” – but it still takes a while before it can be conveyed.

Giessen – “Yesterday this handsome male named Fire was handed over to us,” wrote the Giessen and Surrounding Area Animal Welfare Association in a Facebook post on Thursday, November 7th. A video is attached to the post in which the boy can be seen.

Fire is 1.5 years old “and still a little too thin, as you can see, and he probably hasn’t really gotten to know much in his life so far,” it continued. At the animal shelter he is now given a room prepared where he can calm down and find peace.

“As you can see, he no longer understands the world and is very stressed.” As soon as he has calmed down, we first get to know him better, see how well he tolerates dogs and possibly cats and have him checked thoroughly by the vet .”

In addition, Fire now gets an extra portion of food. “He has not yet been approved for adoption, so we first have to get to know him a little better,” wrote the animal shelter officials. With a little patience, Fire might soon find a new home. (csa)

Bonita has been living in the Giessen animal shelter for seven years. The dog has learned a lot here – now all she needs is a suitable home that can offer her space, loving people and clear tasks.
