An overview of the new products for 2025

An overview of the new products for 2025

We expect three electric innovations (but not only) from Citroën in 2025. The Stellantis brand was preparing for the facelift of the C4 and C4 X as well as the debut of the second generation of the C5 Aircross, which will also be battery-powered for the first time. In addition to the electric versions, there will also be mild hybrids, and the first deliveries of the redesigned Ami will take place in the spring.

The Citroën Ami, the tiny French electric car launched four years ago, was preparing for a facelift in 2025 that will bring several aesthetic changes.

The front end features a new body-colored bumper, round headlights with black eyelashes and a sloping area under the windshield incorporating the new logo. There are also new door and rim graphics, while the interior will remain unchanged.

There will also be no changes to the drives. The redesigned Ami will continue to be equipped with an 8 HP electric drive, which will have a range of 75 km and a top speed of 45 km/h.

Citroën C4 and C4 X (2025)

The Citroën C4 and C4 X are receiving a facelift four years after their launch, which includes aesthetic, technical and mechanical updates. Both versions get a design inspired by the 2022 Oli concept with a new logo, LED headlights with three elements and aerodynamic 18-inch amber-look wheels. The interior gets Advanced Comfort seats and an updated dashboard with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a color head-up display and a 10-inch central screen with 3D navigation and ChatGPT support.

The engine range includes mild hybrid versions with 100 and 136 hp, complemented by electric options with 136 hp (50 kWh battery) and 156 hp (54 kWh battery). The range is 415 km for the C4 and 425 km for the C4 X, with fast charging of up to 100 kW. V2L technology for powering external devices is also planned and will be available with special accessories from 2025.

Citroen C5 Aircross concept

The new C5 Aircross, unveiled through a concept at the Paris Motor Show, will be based on the Stellantis Group’s STLA Medium platform and positioned as a competitor to models such as the VW Tiguan and Hyundai Tucson. The design should be based on the prototype. Compared to the current model, the SUV will grow and reach a length of 4.65 meters.

The engine range will be comprehensive with mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and, for the first time, a 100 percent electric variant. The latter is said to offer power of up to 320 hp and a range of over 500 km and share technology with the Peugeot E-3008 or the Opel Grandland.
