An important risk delineation can be made using the half-yearly chart: Since a breach of this bastion would be equivalent to a real blow in the neck in terms of chart technology, this zone offers itself as a strategic hedge for EUR investors. We will go into this aspect in more detail later. Just for the sake of completeness, we also include the quarterly chart. There is a “bearish engulfing” there – and a very special one, because the current quarterly candle currently encloses the bodies of the three previous 3-month periods (see chart). In this context, a quote from Albert Einstein hits the mark: “Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.” The dynamic white candle of the 3rd quarter “didn’t count” in the end and actually blew the most recent attack of weakness was immediately negated. The limits of the last eight quarterly candles once again cement the groundbreaking character of the well-known and already mentioned signal marks at just under USD 1.05 and a good USD 1.12. Looking at the monthly chart, we are approaching the concrete 2025 EUR/USD roadmap step by step (to be continued).
