This year, a total of 48,17,441 candidates have appeared for the UP Police Constable recruitment exam. There were 15 lakh women candidates among them. Around 34.6 lakh candidates appeared for the written examination.

The UP Police Constable written exam was held in two phases – on August 23, 24, 25 and August 30, 31.

Through this review, the board will fill 60,244 vacancies. Twenty percent of the vacancies (12,049) are reserved for female candidates. The number of vacancies for male candidates is 48,195.

On October 30, the board released the final answer key, which was available for download at uppbpb.gov.in till November 9. The board identified 70 objections as correct.

All candidates receive full marks for incorrect questions. For questions with more than one correct answer option, the person who gave one of the correct answers receives a mark.
