The Battle Passes in Fortnite will be slightly more expensive starting December 1st.

Anyone who regularly buys the battle passes for Fortnite Battle Royale will have to dig a little deeper into their pockets in the future. Epic has also announced that it will increase the subscription size for Fortnite Crew – while keeping the price the same.

Fortnite Battle Pass Price: Moderate Adjustment

  • Old price: 950 V Bucks
  • New price: 1,000 V Bucks
  • From when? December 1, 2024

Previously, a Battle Pass for Fortnite Battle Royale cost 950 V-Bucks. This price will increase by 50 V-Bucks to 1,000 V-Bucks starting December 1st. As Epic emphasizes, the real money prices in the game will not change; 1,000 V-Bucks still cost 8.99 euros.

In addition, in the future you will be able to earn enough V-Bucks within a season to be able to buy the next Battle Pass – the price increase will therefore be fairly moderate.

More passes in Fortnite Crew

The Battle Passes are also included in Fortnite Crew, the paid Fortnite subscription service that gives paying people 1,000 V-Bucks per month and rotating Crew packages, among other things. From December 1st, the scope of the subscription will be expanded again, as it will also include the Music Pass and the LEGO Pass. According to Epic, the price of the subscription will not change and will still cost 11.99 euros per month.

It was only in October that Epic announced that the entire Battle Pass system would be changed; XP earned will be applied roughly equally to all active Fortnite passes.
