That was a short engagement: Coach Qemajl Beqiri, who was only hired before the start of the season, and Sulzemoos are going their separate ways.

TSV 1865 Dachau II – SV Sulzemoos 6:3: It was the last game for Sulzemoos coach Qemajl Beqiri. As department head Paul Kronseder announced, “due to internal changes in the club” they decided to part ways by mutual agreement during the winter break. Kronseder did not say what changes these were. Manuel Eisgruber takes over as coach.

With their third win in a row, the Dachau team have moved into the midfield of the league. However, after the 6:3 win in the derby against Arnbach, Sulzemoos had to accept a defeat of the same magnitude and had lost touch with the lead. Dachau team spokesman Niclas Seibt was happy about “a nice end to the half-season, a great team performance, a deserved result and that the boys knocked the ball over”.

Anyone who arrived at the artificial turf pitch in Dachau-Ost must have missed a lot. Because both teams started the game furiously. Sulzemoos took the lead in the 3rd minute through top scorer Manuel Eisgruber. But in the 5th minute, Leon Junker equalized from eleven meters after work by Johannes Petschner. Dachau made it 2-1 in the 11th minute when Alexandros Tanidis scored after a powerful shot from Leon Junker. And just two minutes later, TSV 1865 increased, Benedikt Blank scored after a quickly taken free kick. The 3:2 quickly followed in return, Manuel Eisgruber scored his 14th goal of the season – five goals in the first 16 minutes! Shortly before half-time, Leon Junker hit the corner beautifully from 25 meters. This ended a breathtaking first half.

After the break things continued lively: 4:3 in the 54th minute by Hakan Özdemir and immediately afterwards in the 56th minute the 5:3 for Dachau by Maximilian Rothfuss, who tried to clear a ball from Thomas Mitsakos but hit his own goal . The final point was the man of the day: Leon Junker, on loan from the state league squad, scored the 6:3 after assists from Gonzales Lopez.

TSV Bergkirchen – TSV Hilgertshausen 2:0: The first half belonged to the guests from Hilgertshausen. Bergkirchen’s goalkeeper Nicolas Eicher kept his team in the game with two saves. In the 10th minute he defused a shot from Hilgertshausen’s player-coach Ludwig Dietrich, then just two minutes later he directed a hard shot from Alexander Racki over the crossbar. From the 30th minute, Bergkirchen came into the game better – and scored. After a corner from Julius von Glasenapp, Bergkirchen’s player-coach Simon Zacherl headed in to make it 1-0. The second half was balanced, with Hilgertshausen having more of the game again and Bergkirchen concentrating on defending. The 2-0 for the home team came in the 62nd minute when Michael Schlemmer, in the best Arjen Robben manner, flicked the ball into the far corner. Josef Keiml had a great chance to score shortly before the end, but Eicher was there. The Bergkirchen coaching duo Simon Zacherl and Stefan Frimmer also highlighted the keeper’s strong ideas.

“That’s how it is in football, we were the dominant team for long stretches, but unfortunately we didn’t score the goals and were punished for it,” said Hilgertshausen’s spokesman Norbert Schneider.

SV Odelzhausen – SV Günding 1:2

It was only at the end of the game that table leaders SV Günding were able to prevail. Beforehand, the spectators were treated to a game at eye level in difficult pitch conditions. Overall, there was little flow in the game.

The sticking point from SVO player-coach Florian Brandmair’s point of view was the referee’s decision not to recognize his goal when the score was 1-1 in the 62nd minute because of offside. This was clearly a wrong decision. The relegation-threatened SVO was really good in the first 30 minutes and took the lead after a nice move by Magnus Winkler (25th). The 2-0 would have been possible, but Alex Ferch only hit the post. Dominik Liebl equalized in the 32nd minute. The second half was not for football connoisseurs. The highlight was Matej Popovic’s header goal after a free kick from Benedikt Rabl (82′).

The Gündinger victory was “actually undeserved,” said Brandmair, “our great fight was not rewarded, we were absolutely on a par with the league leaders.” SVG coach Stephan Liebl admitted that the team “unfortunately didn’t get it on the pitch today, in the end maybe a little more will was the deciding factor”. Liebl wanted to give huge praise to “the entire team, the staff and the club for this successful first half of the season”.
