Opeth: Studio report video for “Heritage” from the archive

Tomorrow, November 22nd, OPETH will release their new album “The Last Will And Testament”, which is why we have brought our studio report video for the album “Heritage” from the archives for you.

In Stockholm’s Atlantis Studio, where OPETH recorded their 2011 album “Heritage”, our editor Holger Stratmann meets with the band members. In the video, guitarist Fredrik Åkesson talks about the history of the studio, after which bassist Martin Mendez, drummer Martin Axenrot, Fredrik Åkesson and frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt give insights into the album recordings. Studio owner/sound engineer Janne Hansson also speaks out and reveals the secrets of the so-called “echo room”. It’s best to watch the video for yourself!
