Just in time for Black Friday, Elden Ring is getting a huge discount, available for just

You know it, you love it and now there’s an insane Black Friday discount on it. That’s right, Elden Ring is currently only $20 on Amazon. There’s a reason why we have a quick link at the top of the website to content related to this game. Honestly, it has earned its place among the gods of the gaming world.

If you haven’t tried your hand at Game of the Year 2022 yet, I have two questions. Question one: What the hell were you doing? Question two: Would you like to buy it now for just $20? We’ll ignore your answer to question one for now, and I suspect your answer to question two is a resounding “YES, PLEASE!”

The base game doesn’t do that for you? No problem, because there is also a very own Early Black Friday deal for the Shadow of the Erdtree edition on PS5 and Xbox. You can buy it for $49.99.

The announcement by the Game Awards that “Shadow of the Erdtree” can compete with “GOTY” this year is somewhat controversial. People had a lot to say about it (whether rightly or wrongly, I can’t say). Should DLCs and expansions count?

The Game Awards had to go ahead and release an entire FAQ to clear up the confusion about why Shadow of the Earthtree qualifies. It says: “The aim of the Game Awards is to recognize the best creative and technical work each year, regardless of the format of publication of that content. Expansion packs, new game seasons, DLCs, remakes and remasters are eligible to participate in all categories if…” The jury considers the new creative and technical work to be worthy of nomination. Factors such as the novelty of the content and its value for money should be taken into account.

That controversy aside, there’s no denying that it’s an absolutely outstanding addition to an already stunning base game. If you can buy it cheap now, why should you even worry about waiting until Black Friday?
