Fiber optic: Swedish ISP “Bahnhof” starts in Germany

There will soon be a new broadband provider in Germany: “Bahnhof” is headquartered in Sweden, but is also active in other Scandinavian countries. The market launch in Germany takes place through a cooperation with the open access provider Metrofibre. Together, the two companies want to bring an offer for private customers onto the market, a symmetrical 5 GB tariff.

The cooperation includes several Metrofibre projects in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region – including Ruhrfibre Mülheim, Ruhrfibre Herne, Düsselfibre in Düsseldorf and Niersfibre in Mönchengladbach. The exact conditions are not yet known.
