📽️ Liverpool’s cult hero scored his first club goal exactly 9️⃣ years ago

Despite being more of a part-time player for most of his time at Anfield, Divock Origi remains a cult hero on Merseyside, scoring crucial goals when the Reds needed him most.

But it took two months for him to score his first goal in a Liverpool shirt, a goal which quickly became the only hat-trick of his club career to date as he helped his side defeat Southampton in the Carabao Cup and advance to the semi-finals.

This year too, the two teams will meet in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Will someone else be able to step in after the Belgian’s departure?
