Santner Dance School danced 24 hours for light in the dark

CATFISH. Because of a night of dancing! – At the Santner dance school, the dance fitness workout La Blast went full throttle all day and all night long for a good cause! In the end, the 24-hour La Blast Challenge brought in 10,000 euros to shed light on the darkness.

The 24-hour La Blast Challenge has been an integral part of the Santner dance school’s event calendar for years. For a minimum donation of ten euros, you can dance until you drop for 24 hours without a partner. Around 500 participants found their way into the large ballroom in the dragoon barracks today and danced Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Jive and Co with enthusiasm.

Full motivation and impressive fitness

“So many people took part and a lot of them were on the dance floor for more than ten hours,” says dance school operator Maria Angelini-Santner, enthusiastic about the motivation and stamina. She was really impressed by the endurance that some of the dancers showed: “We had one participant who danced for 17 hours!” 17 hours! “You have to imagine that,” says the Dancing Stars judge, overwhelmed. She is also overwhelmed by the impressive amount of donations that the campaign raised: “We received 8,145.51 euros in donations and as a dance school we round that up to 10,000 euros, which we donate to Licht ins Dunkel,” says Angelini happily -Santner on the great success of the 24 hour La Blast challenge.
