3D Systems presents new products at Formnext 2024

The 3D printer manufacturer 3D Systems has announced that it will present several new products at the Formnext 2024 trade fair. The company introduces next-generation products in its Stereolithography (SLA) and Figure 4 portfolios.

The PSLA 270 is a high-speed, projector-based SLA system that produces medium-sized, high-quality parts with stable mechanical properties. In addition, 3D Systems introduced the Wash 400/Wash 400F and Cure 400, special post-processing solutions for washing, curing and drying printed parts. These systems reduce manual cleaning effort and ensure consistent curing of parts through automated processes.

Another focus is on expanding the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) portfolio. The new SLS 380 system offers an industrial, high-throughput solution for selective laser sintering, supported by a variety of new materials such as DuraForm PA12 Black and DuraForm TPU 90A, designed to increase productivity and flexibility in production. In addition, materials such as VisiJet Armor Max and VisiJet M2P-CST Crystal were introduced for the MultiJet Printing (MJP) segment, which address specific requirements in the areas of prototyping and jewelry manufacturing.

“Our customers’ ingenuity drives our innovation,” said Marty Johnson, vice president of product and technical fellow, 3D Systems. “By working closely with their engineering team, we are pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing. To keep pace with customers’ evolving needs, we are constantly expanding our solution portfolio. Our latest additions – new accessories and new materials – are prime examples of how customer-focused innovation can create a competitive advantage.”

The new products will be generally available from the first quarter of 2025. 3D Systems demonstrated these innovations in its booth (Hall 11.1, Stand D11) at Formnext 2024 in Frankfurt, which took place from November 19th to 22nd.
