In district class 6 Munich, the second team from VfB Forstinning beat neighbor SV Hohenlinden in the derby 2-0 (1-0).

In the district class 6 derby (Munich) against neighboring club SV Hohenlinden, VfB Forstinning II deservedly retained the upper hand in the end. The 2.0 (1-0) meant that all three points remained in the VfB sports park at home.

The guest, who recently won twice, started the party with a lot of points. Zoran Pejic stormed towards the Forstinningen goal on his own from the right side, but VfB goalkeeper Michael Heidfeld somehow got his leg into the Hohenlinden offensive player’s final attempt.

The first action on the other side led to the lead for coach Hubert Schunk’s host team. After an unnecessary corner, Felix Füchsl brought the insufficiently cleared ball from the edge of the penalty area past the many legs of friend and foe into the net (12th).

“The goals conceded came too easily,” SVH player coach Sebastian Ittlinger also complained about his team’s poor defensive behavior. Especially since the Hohenlinden team should have equalized immediately after Forstinningen made it 1-0. However, Heidfeld fished a free kick from Pejic that was wonderfully twisted into the goal triangle from the corner.

The neighbors then neutralized each other and prevented any successful goals. But when the decision made it 2-0, the Hohenlinden defense stopped defending completely due to an alleged offside position. VfB attacker Valentin Bamberger was then able to slot in without any problems (75′).

“Then we were no longer compelling enough. “That wasn’t enough,” concluded Ittlinger. His counterpart on the VfB side was of course more satisfied with his conclusion: “It was a very intense game over 90 minutes, both teams showed maximum effort,” said coach Schunk. “In the end, perhaps the team with the slightly higher quality of play deserved it.”
